West Ham vs Manchester United II 30/11/2016.

The Hammers faced a solid Manchester United squad in the EFL Quarter-Final. With only four days separating the previous meeting between these two in the league and with United feeling they dropped two points, they clearly wanted to make up for it here. Both sides have struggled so far this season to have any real consistency with results and therefore a cup semi-final place to play for looked like a mouth watering encounter.

As expected Manchester United started well and the hammers didn't after only managing to keep a clean sheet for all of two minutes before Ibrahimovic cheekily dinked Randolph. It was clear to see that betway made the right decision in backing the Manchester team to make the pot for the semi-final draw.

West Ham continued to fight and did get a goal back to level the game coming from the former Manchester lad, Fletcher, after De Gea spilled a payet shot from outside the box. However that's where the West Ham news ends as Manchester United ran away with the game and it ended up 4-1, heaping more pressure on Billic and his boys.

The Hammers have to look forward and concentrate on getting back to the old West Ham of last season at the new stadium on Saturday against London rivals Arsenal.
